Lavender Linen Spray
The average adult spends 1/3 of their life in their bedroom -- so naturally having a comfortable inviting bedroom is important! Lavender essential oil is one of the most popular used essential oils, especially in the bedroom. And for good reason too! Lavender essential oil helps to reduce cortisol levels. It's calming, stress relieving and healing to the body.
This Lavender Linen spray is a favorite of ours for your sheets and pillow cases. It'll leave a soft lavender scent while help you unwind after your day.
What You’ll Need:
- Witch Hazel
- Lavender Essential Oil
- Water
- Spray Bottle
How to Make:
- Combine witch hazel and Lavender essential oil in a glass spray bottle. Put the lid on and shake well to combine.
- Add your water. Shake again to mix all of your ingredients.
- Spray on linens, towels, clothing and more!
DID YOU KNOW: The essential oil will not distribute into the water on its own, so mixing them with your witch hazel first helps combine them with the water for a better dispersed spray.
How Much?
How much of each ingredient will depend on the size of spray bottle you intend to use. For a 4 ounce spray bottle, stick with about 8-10 drops of Lavender essential oil. For the larger, 16 ounce spray bottles, you can use 20-30 drops! For the witch hazel, fill your container about ¼ of the way and the remainder will be water, regardless of the size of your bottle.
